JOB-W-001 - Driver (Full-Time) – Kampala

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Driver to join our team for goods distribution within Kampala and the surrounding regions. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery of products to clients while maintaining company vehicle standards and following all traffic and safety regulations.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Safely drive company vehicles to deliver goods to customers and distribution points.
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and accurate delivery documentation.
Maintain delivery schedules and communicate effectively with the logistics team.
Inspect vehicle daily to ensure roadworthiness (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.).
Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and in good condition.
Report any mechanical issues or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
Assist in basic warehouse activities when needed (sorting, packaging, or documentation).

Qualifications and Requirements

Valid Ugandan driver’s license (Classes B, CM, or CH preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in goods delivery or logistics operations.
Knowledge of Kampala and surrounding routes is an advantage.
Must be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
