JOB-W-002 - Security (Full-Time) – Kampala

We are seeking a professional and experienced Security Officer to join our team at our manufacturing facility in the Kampala region. The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector, with a strong focus on maintaining safety, discipline, and asset protection within the workplace.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Patrol and monitor premises to prevent theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
Control entry and exit of vehicles, employees, and visitors at all gates.
Ensure compliance with company security procedures and visitor registration.
Inspect vehicles entering and leaving the premises for goods verification.
Report and record any security incidents, suspicious behavior, or safety hazards.
Support emergency procedures such as fire drills or evacuation exercises.
Monitor CCTV systems and maintain accurate security logs.
Collaborate with management to enforce company policies and maintain order.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Security Guard or Security Officer in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Valid security certification or training from a recognized security firm is an added advantage.
Physically fit, alert, and able to work long hours, including night shifts.
Knowledge of security systems and basic emergency response.
Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills.
High level of integrity, discipline, and reliability.
